Chemin du terroir

The “Chemin du Terroir”, inaugurated in October 2010, is a signposted trail that takes you through more than 226 kilometres of country backroads and byways, with discoveries to make at every turn.

The Laurentians’ terroir features a wealth of agricultural tourism, but that’s not all: our heritage, culture and history are also presented as you make your way through a delightful rural decor. It’s just the right scenario for a romantic escapade, family tour or educational visit, and there’s always lots to taste along the way.

The visit takes you through the Basses-Laurentides and Argenteuil via a route that changes with the seasons. The locals await you with open arms to help you savour and experience the Laurentians!

Downtown Montréal

Downtown is both the heart of Montréal and one of the most vibrant, cosmopolitan areas of the city. Nestled at the feet of postmodern towers, well matched with the surrounding gracious Victorian architecture, a number of the city’s most splendid buildings and churches call out to be explored. Countless art and theme museums and charming green spaces dot the area. Fabulous shopping is only footsteps away in the Museum Quarter and aficionados of electrifying nightlife will find their hearts’ desire on Crescent Street. Throughout the year, and particularly in summertime, downtown resonates with captivating festivals that draw out the spontaneity of Montrealers and visitors alike.

Located on a former railway line, Le P'tit Train du Nord Linear Park, between Saint-Jérôme and Val-David, provides a 40-kilometre cross-country ski trail catering for both classic and skating styles, all mechanically groomed and accessible to beginners.
